About

Built because employee experience keeps being discussed instead of designed.

The Employee Circle™ is a methodology, a measurement system, a platform and a practice. It exists to make one thing possible: an organization where every moment of the employee journey is designed on purpose, owned by name and measured over time.

The origin

The same failure, in organization after organization.

Recruitment was professional. Onboarding was administrative. Development was a form filled in once a year. Internal mobility was slower than the external market. Exit was a conversation held too late to matter. Each part was defensible. The whole was indefensible.

The pattern was never a lack of effort. It was the absence of a structure that could hold the whole employee journey in one view, in one language, with one score, and with a named owner for every part of it.

The Employee Circle was built as that structure: eight moments, six lenses, five drivers. Small enough to be remembered in a board meeting, precise enough to be measured, and complete enough that nothing important falls between the parts.

What we believe

Five convictions.

  1. 01

Experience is designed or it is accidental

There is no third option. Every organization already has an employee experience; the only question is whether anyone chose it.

  2. 02

    The journey is a circle

The person leaving and the person applying are the same relationship at different points. Treating exit as an ending destroys value.

  3. 03

    Ownership beats intention

A moment with a named owner improves. A moment everyone cares about and nobody owns does not.

  4. 04

    Evidence before opinion

Data, interpretation, assumption and recommendation are stated separately, always.

  5. 05

    Managers carry the experience

Most of what an employee feels is delivered by one person. Systems support that person; they do not replace them.

Who we work with

Everyone who owns part of the Circle.

The methodology only works when the executive team, HR and line managers use the same definitions. That is why every audience gets its own entry point into the same model.

CEOs and executives
Who need to know whether the workforce can deliver the strategy.
CHROs and HR directors
Who need one coherent argument instead of nine competing initiatives.
HR managers and specialists
Who need instruments, standards and templates that fit together.
Managers and team leads
Who own more of the experience than they were ever told.
Consultants and advisors
Who need a defensible method they can deliver and license.
How we work

Diagnose, design, deliver, re-measure.

Consulting, platform and Academy are three delivery routes for one method. Most organizations start with a Circle Scan and decide from the findings how much support they want.

  1. Step 01

    Diagnose

The Circle Scan produces a Circle Profile, a Heatmap and a Circle Gap analysis.

  2. Step 02

    Design

Moments are redesigned on the Design Canvas with promises, standards and blueprints.

  3. Step 03

    Deliver

Actions are owned, sequenced by impact and effort, and governed properly.

  4. Step 04

    Re-measure

A second measurement shows movement per moment — or shows the plan was wrong.
